GB/T 14291 welded steel pipes are designed for ore powder, ore pulp, mineral slurry, and dredging pipeline service where pipe strength, weld integrity, dimensional stability, and abrasion allowance are critical. The current GB/T 14291-2016 standard is titled “Welded steel pipe for ore pulp transportation”, was issued on August 29, 2016, and implemented on July 1, 2017. It applies to welded steel pipes used for ore powder, ore slurry, river dredging, and harbor dredging pipeline systems.
